RESTORAN CHOLEQ KAJANG. Kali pertama dengar orang menyebut Choleq, saya ingatkan Culik. Agak panik sebentar. Haha. Tapi rupa-rupanya, ia adalah Colek atau dalam kata lain 'kuah pencicah', lebih senang macam rojak. Choleq diambil dari perkataan Colek  dari Pantai Timur seperti contoh, 'kawe suko make colek pauh'. Pehe dok? =p

Dan baru-baru ini satu sesi food review telah diadakan di Choleq, Reko Sentral, Jalan Reko, Kajang. Istimewanya restoran ini, dia menyajikan segala jenis colek yang ada kat Malaysia ni. Jadi siapa yang suka makan colek bolehlah ke sini. Especially orang Pantai Timur, rindu anda terhadap colek mungkin terubat. Siapa tahu? Kannnnnnnnnnnn. Lalalala.

Terdapat 16 jenis colek yang berbeza-beza yang boleh anda try kat sini. Setiap colek ini adalah berasal dari tempat yang berlainan seperti Pasir Puteh, Seberang Takir, Tanjung Lumpur, Lubok Cina, Tanah Merah dan lain-lain. Bagaimana colek ini dipilih? Berdasarkan populariti colek di kawasan tersebut. 

Menu Choleq dan harga

Saya tertarik dengan minuman kat sini. Diilhamkan dari luar negara, kat sini menyediakan minuman 'Tower'. Para pelanggan boleh memilih jenis-jenis tower dan harganya juga berbeza. Ohsemnyaaa lahai. Ada juga tanya, nak jual ke tak. Hati berkenan betul kat tower berbentuk bola di bawahnya tu. Malangnya tak jual.

3 Layer Tower 

Baguskan? Tak perlu nak berebut. Jimat masa dan banyak pilihan. Jus boleh dipilih sendiri mengikut citarasa. Tapi jus-jus kat sini semuanya sedap. Untuk yang ini kami dihidangkan dengan tiga jenis jus yang berbeza, iaitu oren, epal dan tembikai. Harga untuk 3 Layer Tower ini adalah RM50. Puas hati sebab sedap, rasa jus yang sebenar  dan dalam kuantiti yang banyak.

Choleq Keropok Keping KT

Yang ni mustahil lah korang tatau. Haaa, kat sinilah bermula episod colek saya. Masa baru-baru kahwin dahulu, adalah seorang teman pesan. "Tie, kirim colek lekor". Masa tu totally lost. Tak faham! Amendalah dia ni kirim. Rupa-rupanya dia kirim kuah colek. Ohhh, now i'm anderstangggggggggggg. (cakak ganu) Choleq Keropok Keping KT ni dijual pada harga RM3.50.


Choleq Seberang Takir

Memang tak dapat dinafikan populariti Choleq Seberang Takir ni. Kalau kat Terengganu, dia berhampiran dengan airport. Makan sambil lihat kapal terbang landing dan take off. Masyukkan? Layan feeling sambil makan coleq. Tapi takkan nak pergi sana setiap kali mengidam? Haa, inilah jalan penyelesaiannya. Kat Restoran Choleq Kajang ni menyediakan Choleq Seberang Takir yang berasaskan ikan kembung. (Tapi kalau kat Terengganu saya lagi suka sotong.. Hihi). Untuk Choleq Seberang Takir ini, harganya mengikut saiz, dari RM 3 sehingga RM6..


Choleq Ayam Pasir Puteh

"Sedaknya," - itulah yang saya dapat gambarkan bila makan Choleq Ayam Pasir Puteh ni. Gabungan bahan-bahan seperti jemput maklah, tauhu, timun, taugeh, kacang tumbuk, kuah colek dan keropok ternyata memberikan satu rasa yang sedap dan mantap. Best!!! Wajib try bila ke sini. Harganya RM5.90


Choleq Sotong Tanjung Lumpur

Siapa pernah ke Kuantan pasti pernah singgah di Tanjung Lumpur untuk makan seafood-seafood yang segar. Begitu juga dengan colek sotong yang sememangnya terkenal kat sana. Di Restoran Choleq ini menyediakan hidangan colek sotong yang resepinya didatangkan khas dari sana. Nampak seperti sotong celup tepung biasakan? Tapi cubalah, rasanya lagi sedap! Untuk Choleq Sotong Tanjung Lumpur, harganya adalah mengikut saiz, bermula dari RM3.50 sehingga RM7.


Choleq Ayam Bomba

Rojak Ayam Bomba memang terkenal di Kota Bharu Kelantan. Kalau tanya orang kat sana, pasti mereka tahu, kedai rojak yang terletak berhadapan dengan balai bomba. Menariknya tentang rojak ini ia ada mee dan dicampurkan dengan keropok keping, jemput maklah dan ayam. Saya suka Choleq Ayam Bomba ni. Sedap. Cumaaa, tak puaslah makan satu. Ekekeke. Choleq Ayam Bomba ni berharga RM6.90


Choleq Perut Tanah Merah
Terdiri daripada perut, paru, jemput maklah, timun, taugeh, keropok dan dan lain. Campuran ini ternyata satu kombinasi yang menarik. Sedapnya sampai ke tekak bak hang. Perut lembu ini diimport dari Kelantan dan diolah dari resepi asalnya dari Tanah Merah. Harga untuk Choleq Perut Tanah Merah adalah RM5.90

Choleq Buah Alor Setar

Nama pun Choleq Alor Setar, sudah tentu berasal dari Alor Setar. Menariknya, kuah choleq ni sangat sedap. Buah-buah dicampurkan dalam satu bekas dan antaranya buah jambu, nenas, cermai dan lain-lain lagi. Sedap!!! Saya suka sangat. Harga adalah RM4.90

Dan banyak lagi Choleq-Choleq yang ada kat sini. Restoran Choleq ini baru dibuka dua bulan lepas dan kini semakin mendapat perhatian. Nak lebih meriah lagi datanglah bila ada perlawanan bola sepak yang melibatkan pasukan Kelantan, dimana kat sini terkumpulnya peminat-peminat bola Red Warrior atau datang pada hari Rabu dan Sabtu. Kenapa??? Datanglah. Suprised!! Cewah. Hahahaha.

Keseluruhan makanan, okaylah. Not bad. Saya makan seperti biasa. Berlainan dengan Mawardi yang pure Kelantanese. Sampai  bertambah-tambah. Kata Encik Azimin, orang yang selalu makan Colek, mereka tahu kenikmatan hidangan ini berbanding dengan orang yang jarang makan. Mungkinlah kot. Hehehe. Saya bagi 3 bintang untuk hidangan di sini.
